Black Mint is the first hookahSqueeze variety with black sugar cane molasses. BIG RED is our first collaboration with the great people at NameLess Tobacco, who make all their own hookah tobacco near Stuttgart! We have known each other for many years, enjoy spending time together and have finally found the moment to launch their amazing flavour expertise, which has been hard-earned over many years, paired with our shisha paste! Originally we just wanted to try out what we could do... then we were all so blown away by chewing gum cinnamon that we realised pretty quickly: this will be our first baby together

hookahSqueeze was the world's first hookah vapour paste in 2014 and has revolutionised the world of tobacco-free hookah products after the completely overwhelming release at the ShishaMesse in the same year, the second ShishaMesse ever.
The principle of a paste that can be smoked in the hookah was developed from 2012 in the then Shisha Lounge by the current hookahLove managing director Maximilian Held in Landsberg am Lech (Bavaria, Germany) in close cooperation with his employees, friends & guests. At that time, there were no known tobacco substitutes for shisha without a plant base, apart from steam stones. With hookahSqueeze, this base is an extremely fine, natural mineral mixture with very high absorption capacity, which is highly heat-resistant and therefore does not burn.

hookahSqueeze should actually have always come out of the tube

During the development phase from 2012 onwards, the invention was given the name hookahSqueeze - and the "squeeze" part was due to a wishful thinking from the very beginning. Namely, that the paste could be squeezed easily from a tube into the head.
Nevertheless, we decided on a firmer consistency at that time and launched hookahSqueeze in tins.
The background was that the paste was initially intended to be smoked pure, i.e. purely as a tobacco substitute, and that it was allowed to be used in our shisha lounge despite the smoking ban in Bavaria. That is why we originally developed it. In contrast to the currently widespread funnels, multi-hole heads were used almost exclusively at that time. A thinner paste from the tube would have run through the holes very easily.
And we all only realised the incredible potential in mixing with tobacco over time.

Today, Squeezy is an indispensable add-on for every hookah that should smoke and taste both longer and better than one without hookahSqueeze - whether mixed with tobacco or pure, completely without nicotine.
Funnels have become - quite rightly - the most used heads. So the time for real SQUEEZE from pretty tubes has undoubtedly come.
We are very grateful and happy that we can now also professionally fill hookahSqueeze into high-quality tubes here in Bavaria. Our new tubes are mostly made of recycled plastic (technically the highest possible proportion) and of course 100% made in Germany.

Due to the composition of only four ingredients without additional binders, hookahSqueeze still needs to be mixed properly before use. You should only spread hookahSqueeze to just below the edge - or fill it, depending on the size and type of head, keeping a little distance from the top. Attachments for only one charcoal only work well with particularly flat heads and perfect head construction up to very close to the OneSmoke (Solo Smoke, 1 charcoal attachment...)! You also have to preheat the attachment beforehand and smoke it for a while or wait about 5 minutes at the beginning (as you like, just try it out!).

After smoking, hookah squeeze should be nice and dry and no longer creamy or moist. If it is not yet dry, you have used too much and should adjust your quantity (and perhaps simply add another round of charcoal). The same applies the other way round, of course: if the smoke development and flavour diminish too soon with the amount of charcoal you are using, you should use more paste. Quite easy actually!

If you have done everything right, the paste will be super easy to remove from the head after the session.

The best way to start is to add a few drops (1-3g) of Squeezy to your existing tobacco setup - just squeeze it on top first. Mixing the vapour paste a little bit with the tobacco and/or letting it soak in for a few minutes will give a longer lasting flavour intensity in most setups. You can also mix it in completely or coat the head (also additionally) with it beforehand. However, brushing it in as with the baking tray usually only works if you smoke at a relatively high heat level. Otherwise, the heat often does not reach the paste at the bottom of the head.

Of course, you can also use a larger amount of paste in relation to the tobacco and just sprinkle or mix it with a few small tobacco shreds. This is especially suitable if you don't want to miss out on the natural nicotine of the tobacco but are totally into the smoking behaviour and intense aroma of hookahSqueeze!

Our flavours vary in intensity, of course, so the amount you need to mix will vary depending on the variety, your personal sensibilities and the strength of the base tobacco. However, you will need particularly little of Cooling, Mint, Black Mint, Mintberry or BIG RED if you want to give your tobacco a menthol or mint note with intense flavour right to the end. With the flavours, 1 gram is often enough.

You will definitely notice that hookah tobacco mixed with hookahSqueeze smokes noticeably better and more carefree. In addition, more heat-sensitive tobaccos can tolerate much more heat when mixed with steam paste and the entire taste (also of the tobacco) lasts noticeably longer.

Tobacco is also often difficult to handle for many beginners. Moreover, shisha smoking has long ceased to be a "youth trend" - as they mature, many smokers also become more health-conscious. It is important to note here that hookahSqueeze should in no way be described as "healthy", as any intake of artificial flavours and the inhalation of vapour produced by glycerine are at the very least not beneficial, i.e. not healthy, for the human body. However, hookahSqueeze keeps you away from the strong neurotoxin nicotine contained in tobacco, which is one of the substances with the highest addiction potential. Despite this advantage over smoking tobacco products, hookahSqueeze, like any stimulant, should be consumed conscientiously and only from the age of 18.
